Click image above or HERE to watch TAMPA, Fla.— Today, on National Fentanyl Prevention and Awareness Day, Senator Ashley Moody is urging Floridians struggling with substance abuse to seek treatment. To emphasize this call to action, Senator Moody met with treatment counselors at Riverside Recovery in Tampa. Joining her to highlight the urgent need to seek help were personnel from the treatment center. Senator Moody also touted the HALT Fentanyl Act, which she co-sponsored, was recently signed into law by President Trump. This legislation permanently places fentanyl-related substances as a schedule I of the Controlled Substances Act and will provide law enforcement with the
